Swimming Lessons

This past week, the girls had swimming lessons. Here are some pictures to enjoy. I am worn out after 6 days in a pool!

Water Lily and Neptune

My new favorite nature picture. I finally took the frog off my background and now I have this beautiful water lily that opened in our pond yesterday.


Here is Neptune, I don't get many pics of him because as soon as he sees me, his nose is in the camera but I was able to grab this one yesterday right after the the waterlily.

Mine, ALL Mine

Okay, well Steven's too. Look what we got Wednesday night!!! We planned on getting a Civic SI Coupe in about 2 months but we couldn't pass up the price on this Mugen over Memorial Day weekend! Honda is only suppose to release 1000 of them!

My favorite picture from 1st Communion

She made her 1st Communion on Saturday and this was a candid I caught on the way out. I love it!

Staci's 1st Communion

I haven't been using the camera much but here are a couple pictures from Staci's 1st Communion. This was my first time shooting in Raw and I need alot more practice with post processing. I know the fly. pic isn't straight and I tried fixing but I would of had to do too much cropping.

It is Spring Time!

As most of you know, I love working in the yard. We redid our gardens (yes, already) in November and I didn't think the Antique Roses would make it b/c we turned one plant into three but they came back beautiful, as you can see by the first open rose. I also love Alyssum and you don't see it enough so I got a picture of it too.

Wow

Did a quick comparison using my wide angle lens. Both of these were taken from the same spot. I still need practice but this will help alot with photographing houses!

Need something other than squirrels!

Practicing with my new lens, old wheelbarrow in my neighbors yard. The next is Jenna, just playing around with angles. The squirrels are all I have to practice on right now with zooming in from a huge distance. They are both at the top of really tall trees on the other side of my yard. I, obviously, wasn't using a tripod.
